Jennifer is the most experienced Pilates teacher I’ve ever had. Her classes are always so professional, we all work hard but we always manage to have a laugh too. She breaks down each exercise with vivid descriptions and demonstrations to ensure you are doing the exercises correctly.

Jennifer’s Pilates classes helped immensely with my pregnancy and even more so postpartum. My running has improved since taking up her classes and I feel so much stronger and flexible. I can highly recommend Jennifer as a pilates teacher. Pilates can benefit everyone and will compliment many different sports.

Beginner Classical Mat (Level 1/2)

There is a lot to learn in the beginning but I can promise sore abdominals and a distinct feeling you just got a bit taller. This class aims to acquaint practitioners with the fundamental principles of Pilates and the beginner mat series as Joseph Pilates created it, balancing and energizing you, body and mind. Once the fundamentals are in hand we mix in the Level 2 curriculum, which adds a bit more complexity. Level 1-2 is challenging for every level of fitness, given the right attention to form and flow.

Intermediate Classical Mat (Level 3)

Level 3 is a fantastic working level— it will get you truly fit and exhausted in the most satisfying kind of way. Though I recommend people new to Pilates first take the beginner class, this class is still open to all; modifications are always given to help each student work with their body for best results. Students can focus on the level 1-2 work and sit out of level three exercises if they are not quite there yet. We may even sprinkle in a level 4 exercise to keep you on your toes.

Advanced Classical Mat (Level 4/5)

Levels 4 and 5 are truly athletic . By this stage you will have a deep understanding of the Pilates repertoire and it’s building blocks, and this will translate into an advanced body awareness and control. You will need athletic stamina to flow through all the exercises with grace and precision.
