Here is a short video with some pre-Pilates movements— we use these to prepare you for the Pilates exercises. They help you to organise the body and practise the fundamental skills. They are also excellent if you aren’t quite up for Level 1 mat work or need a gentle warm up.

Here is the first installment of virtual content. This video will teach you some of the fundamental skills: the building blocks of every Pilates exercise. Tutorial videos to follow will continue to discuss basic concepts behind Pilates that might not have been covered here, but this is a good start for anyone new to Classical Pilates or needing a refresher.
What would Joe do?
As we all keep hearing, these are unprecedented times. Joseph Pilates first developed his method of exercise in a WWI POW camp in England. This was the time of the 1918 H1N1 epidemic. He sought to recuperate the sick and injured, and keep the camp healthy and happy. It seems all the more fitting that we turn now to Joe to keep us healthy and sane as we face the news each day and isolate ourselves for the common good.
In this spirit, I am going to post videos for clients new and old, as well as anyone who feels the need to move, stretch, breath.
