Terms & Refund Policy
Last updated: 15 Oct 2026
1. Who I am
These terms are between you and Jenny Palmer, trading as Jennifer Palmer and Lightwell Pilates ("I", "me"). You can reach me at jennifer@lightwellpilates.com and Ripsley Park Cottage, Portsmouth Road, Liphook, Hampshire, GU30 7JH, UK.
2. What you are buying
Strength You Can Trust is an eight-week, self-paced online foundation course in classical mat Pilates, made of pre-recorded video lessons. It is not a live course and there is no set start date or deadline.
The Cup o’ Joe Video Library is a monthly subscription to my library of recorded classes and tutorials, and inspiration videos found on YouTube.
3. Price and payment
Prices are shown at checkout in pounds sterling: I’m not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. Payment is taken through my website’s checkout. I never see or store your card details.
4. Access
Access to Strength You Can Trust starts as soon as you have paid, and lasts for as long as the course is available. The Library is available for as long as your subscription is active.
Your access is personal to you. Please don’t share your login or copy, record or redistribute the videos. I may update, improve or reorder the content over time.
5. Your right to cancel, and refunds
The law gives you 14 days from purchase to cancel an online purchase and get your money back. Because the course is available to watch immediately, at checkout I ask you to agree that access starts straight away, and to acknowledge that once it does, you lose that 14-day right to cancel. If you do not tick that box, I cannot give you access until the 14 days have passed.
I would still like you to be happy. If you start the course and it genuinely is not for you, email me within 14 days of buying and we will sort out a refund.
This does not affect your legal rights. If the course is faulty or not as I described it, you can still ask for a repair or a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you have a problem, please email me first and I will do my best to put it right.
6. The Library subscription
The Library renews each month at the price shown until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through your account / by emailing me before your next renewal date, and you will keep access until the end of the month you have paid for. I do not refund part-months.
7. Health, safety and your responsibility
My lessons and information are general education and are not medical advice. Please move gently and within what feels comfortable, and stop if something doesn’t feel right.
If you are pregnant, recovering from injury or surgery, or have a health condition, or pain that is new, severe or comes with other symptoms, please check with your GP or physiotherapist before you begin. You take responsibility for deciding whether the lessons are right for you and for how you use them.
8. No guarantees
People respond differently to exercise, so I can’t guarantee any particular result.
9. My content
The videos, written material and branding belong to me. You are licensed to use them for your own personal practice, but not to share, sell or reproduce them.
10. Limits on my liability
To the extent the law allows, I am not responsible for losses that were not a reasonably foreseeable result of our contract, and my total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, for fraud, or your legal rights as a consumer.
11. Your information
I look after your personal information as described in my Privacy Policy.
12. Changes and the law
I may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you buy is the one that applies to your purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
